Selkirk Dolphins February Chiller swim meet February 10 - 12th. There are a lot of volunteers needed to run our meet. Please be sure to check the bulletin board at the pool.

Saturday January 28th practice for Group 3,4 5 and Cross training starts at 9:00am

Level 1 timers Clinic

Jan 28th 7:00-10:30 am includes safety marshall and stroke and turn.

A survey has been sent out about the Brandon meet April 14 - 15th hotel arrangement requirements.

Wednesday practice for Group 1 & 2 has been changed to 5:00-6:30 pmwith on deck dryland training.

Manitoba Marlins New Years Invitational meet was attended January 21 & 22nd. Results were very good considering we had the Christmas off and manywere sick on the return to practice.

The Fun Meet November 19th at the Pan Am pool was a great experience for Emma, Abby, Sonja, Teaghan and Marcus. All swimmers received certificates of racing achievement learning about why we need to practice, what we need to work harder on in practice and having fun racing. Congratulations swimmers on your amazing achievements.

Congratulations Tiana for being named to Teir 3 Provincial Swim Team.

Congratulations to all the swimmers who competed at the St. James Seals swim meet. the 'A' swimmers had 99% improvement with some swimmer being disqualified for turn infractions.

"AA" swimmers worked hard, with many running back and forth between swim races and waterpolo games.

3 Dolphins record were set. Jillian for 200 Back, Tiana for 200 free and Brandon for 200 fly.

November 12 & 13 we are competing in Brandon. Good luck swimmers.

Practice will start at 7:00 for those not attending the meet.

Congratulations Award Winners. Swim Manitoba Awards - Congratulations to Tiana and James for achieveing high standards of achievement recognized by Swim Manitoba.

The Selkirk Dolphins pride themselves in offering a cross training program as well as encourage athletes to participate in other activities in following the guidlelines of the Long Term Athlete Development Model. We are proud to say that we have many athletes who have reached recent success in various sport races at all levels including Provincials and Western Canada Games this Summer.

Cailyn Silver medal WCSG Softball,qualified Nationals,  Jayde and Gio - multiple awards Dirt Bike, Brandon - multiple medals Dragon Boat Worlds WCSG High knee Canoe, qualified Nationals.

Manitoba Summer Games are hosted by Swan River 2012. If you are female born 1998-2001 or male 1997-2000 you have a chance in making the team.

Come out and try the Sport of Competitive swimming.
